Pinnick’s talk postponed

MINOT, N.D. – Minot State University announced Friday alumna Veronica (Cavallo) Pinnick’s planned Minot State Alumni Speaker Series talk has been postponed due to the ongoing national government shutdown.

Pinnick, a research associate at the Goodard Space Flight Center, is not allowed to speak on behalf of the Goodard Space Flight Center or NASA during the shutdown. She was scheduled to give an hour-long talk on “Searching for the Fingerprints of Life in our Solar System using Mass Spectrometry,” at Cyril Moore Auditorium Jan. 17.
